The Victoria Chapter unites voice teachers and their students from Victoria and Vancouver Island, BC.
Most of our teachers are located in the Greater Victoria area, with some located up-island in the Cowichan and Comox Valley.
The majority of our teachers are independent music studios, with some of our members also teaching at the Victoria Conservatory of Music, the University of Victoria and the Canadian College of Performing Arts.
Our students participate in their school musical productions, song&dance competitions, various community theatre groups and choirs, and the Greater Victoria Performing Arts Festival.
The Chapter involves anywhere from 14 to 20 members depending on the year and has been active since the 1980s.

The Chapter has hosted many workshops and masterclasses over the years with voice pedagogues and specialists such as Richard Miller, Elizabeth Howard, Cynthia McGladrey, Nancy Bos, Robert Edwin, Cynthia Vaughn, Erin Guinup and Lisa Popeil.
